After being inspired by the Anchorage Girls High School hockey program in 2015, we revisit the teams, alumni and coaches to find a community still harnessing the transformative power of sport–and surprise them with the funding and brand-new Bauer equipment needed to keep this program on the ice.
Back on the field with MLK High School Football Team
In 2014, MLK High’s football team turned rivals into teammates and won Philly’s Public League Championship. 10 years later, The DICK’S Foundation returned to MLK High School to catch up with the Cougars coaches, who are still using the power of sport to change lives both on and off the field.
